  • A Bushhog (or Brushhog) is a big and wide mower pulled by a tractor. It’s used to take down large areas of brushy bushes or bushy brushes. Back where I grew up, one of the worst accidents that could happen on a farm was when someone, while bushhogging a very rocky or uneven field, would fall off the tractor and under the mower.
