This is the last post for Mount Desert Island Week on the blog.

One of my favorite spots on MDI is the Asticou Azalea Garden near Northeast Harbor. have seen some great birds and butterflies in this beautiful spot near the Asticou Inn (and Carroll Tyson's Birchcoft).

When my wife Patty and I were there earlier this month, we were treated to a flock of Cedar Waxwings.

I love the sign… "This is a place for Quiet enjoyment."

Maybe we should post one of these signs at the Celery Farm…
