Look Out for Ticks!
I am hearing the same message again and again, and thought I should share it:
Even though it is winter, you can still get ticks — and all the diseases that many harbor, most notably Lyme Disease.
When you're in the Celery Farm, please stay on the trails at all times (as Celery Farm rules require already).
I am also hearing that the best tick defense is a pair of rubber boots (a.k.a. "Wellies" or Wellingtons).

People who spend time outdoors are at significant risk of being bitten by ticks. Individuals who have been out hiking before will usually be aware of the possibility and try to take precautions. However individuals who have not spent much time outdoors will not be as aware of the danger.
Anyone who has ever been bitten by ticks knows that it is quite irritating to the skin. Plus there’s the added risk of disease. Thanks for sharing your tips on how to move around outside with less risk of carrying unwelcome guests back indoors. -
thanks for the wise advice
