Look for Red-shoulders!

Yesterday I noticed a Red-shouldered Hawk flying above Lake Appert before disappearing to the north.

That reminded me that our local Red-shoulders should be nesting.

Your assignment: Let me know if you see any local Red-shoulders flying with food or  nesting materials, where you saw them, and in what direction they were headed.

If you see a leg band, you will receive multiple bonus points.

The past two springs, we never did find a nest, so we wonder-if/hope-that a new female is nesting this year.
