Great News about a New Jersey River

DSCN1744
I've been working with The Nature Conservancy in New Jersey for a decade now, and restoring the Delaware River and its tributaries has been a high TNC priority,

TNC even led the effort to remove a dam (above) on the Paulinskill.

I am pleased to share this from nj.com:

The Delaware River’s comeback from its polluted state decades ago has established it as “a model for other river restoration efforts across the county” and made it an environmental advocacy group’s 2020 River of the Year.

The distinction from American Rivers comes in the organization’s annual “Most Endangered Rivers” report, which identifies 10 waterways across the U.S. in need of help.
