Great Column about our Marsh Warden!

Don Torino, the president of Bergen County Audubon Society, wrote about Marsh Warden Mike Limatola and his conservation award for wildnewjersey.tv.

Nice quotes from Marsh Warden Emeritus Stiles Thomas, too.  (That's Mike on the left, and Stiles on the right, above.)

Here's a sample:

"Mike Limatola’s dedication to the environment goes beyond the Celery Farm. Aas President of Fyke Nature Association he does all he can do to raise awareness and keep people connected to the natural world.

"From leading nature walks and field trips all over New Jersey to standing up on environmental issues such as protecting the Bald Eagle nest in Ridgefield Park, supporting the fledgling Franklin Lakes Nature Preserve and protecting the nearby historic Fell House, Mikes lives a life of dedication, perseverance and devotion to an Earth and community that he loves and sacrifices for."

Congratulations, Mike!
