RAISING MONEY FOR GREAT WATERSHED GROUP

Mark your (Celery Farm) calendars.
     Bergen SWAN, the all-volunteer group that does so much to protect the Hackensack River watershed, is holding a fund-raiser in Hillsdale on Friday night, Feb 13. Admission is $25, for a worthy cause.
   I'll be among the speaker/readers — which also include:
* The estimable Nancy Slowik of Greenbrook Sanctuary.
   * The incomparable Eric Nelsen of the Palisades Interstate Park System.
   *The ever-fascinating Kevin Wright, former Bergen County historian and total non-relative of mine.

   Musical entertainment will be provided by Joe McKay and Friends, a great local trio with a river tune or two up their guitar-pickin' sleeves.
