First Photos of David the Hawk!

Barbara Dilger was kind enough to send along these nifty shots of David the Red-shouldered Hawk, Laura's mate.

To my knowledge, these are the first photos of the male hawk since Stiles dubbed him "David."

Barbara writes:

"I went to see the nest Friday and could only see the tail of Laura keeping the baby or babies warm. So I went over to the CF and got to see the Swallow show and as I was watching the Swallows at the Warden's Watch, I saw David heading over the lake toward the nest with a snack.

" So, I rushed back to the nest to see Laura feeding her young, though I could not see the little ones sitting so deep in the cozy nest."
