Don Torino’s Latest Column: The Bird Talker

1967_Dr_Dolittle_01
Don Torino's latest column for wildnewjersey.tv features an odd confession: He talks to birds, much like Dr. Doolittle wanted to (above).

Here's a sample:

"Now I confess, I have been
known at times, at least when I think no one is watching,  to have heart- to-hearts with Hummingbirds, dialog with Mourning Doves, raps with
Wrens, chats with Chats, and parleys with Palm Warblers, and — for God’s
sake, don’t tell the birds — words of wisdom with Woodchucks and  even
soliloquys with squirrels.

"Animals seem to be good listeners. I could
sit in my lawn chair and go on and on all day about politics, world
affairs, and  they always seem to agree with me no matter how far
reaching  my opinions may be."

The link is here.
