Cutting the Phragmites by the Pirie Platform

Kevin Watson, Gabrielle Schmidt and I took a whack at the phragmites in from of the Pirie-Mayhood Tower in hopes that more folks will be able to see more of Lake Appert.

We will try to cut more next week…

Gets kind of swampy. Definitely not something one would want to do alone — not that I'm saying anyone is a stick-in-the-mud.
