Horned Grebe at the Celery Farm
My first ever here. And the spring arrivals are arriving! The grebe was No. 186 on my Celery Farm life…
Quite a few entries statewide and from Massachusetts so far.
One of my highlights was this Carolina Wren…
My wrens love suet! Try some. They love it.
The Carolina Wren, our favorite backyard bird. We have a pair in our yard right now, hopefully they will stay till spring and build a nest in our yard. They seem to not prefer to go to our bird feeder and prefer eating meat/insects vs seeds. When they nest they build about 3 nests, sometimes in a birdhouse, and the female picks one of them.
