    The Chimney Swifts were pouring into the chimney at the George Washington Middle School in Ridgewood yesterday evening.

   My wife and I arrived just before 7 p.m. and missed at least half the show. Kurt Muenz reports more than 1,000 swifts using the chimney nightly. Now is prime time.

  At the end of the display (around 7:20), we saw several Nighthawks whizzing around.
