Nature Done Wright

On Sunday, May 23, and Sunday, May 30, a few of us Fykers and nature lovers will be selling Celery Farm T-shirts, caps and books at the Franklin Turnpike entrance from 9 to 10 a.m.  (Raindate: Memorial Day, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.)

The caps feature a Common Yellow-throat, and the T-shirts (in medium, large and extra-large) feature a Belted Kingfisher.  Caps and T-shirts are $15. All proceeds go to support the Fyke Nature Association.

I'll be selling the three Celery Farm children's books, including "Icky" and "Duck Enough to Fly," as well as the coffee table book about the Celery Farm, "In the Presence of Nature."  

This Sunday, Jerry Barrack, who took most of the photos for the books, will be around to say hi and sign books as well.

Signed children's books are $10 each, or all three for $25. The Celery Farm book is $25. All proceeds from the book sales will go to Allendale's Friends of the Lee Memorial Library.
