Horned Grebe at the Celery Farm
My first ever here. And the spring arrivals are arriving! The grebe was No. 186 on my Celery Farm life…
Walked out to the Warden's Watch at lunchtime today and thought I'd do an update.
The American Wigeons were still
nearby, along with three American Coots and many, many Mallards.
A pair of Northern Shovelers (above) swam nearby as well.
In the distance: 6+ Green-winged Teal and many Gadwall.
The Great Egret is still hanging around (a fall record by at least 10 days at this point).
