  • Jim,
    Great shot.
Some advanced “snow and winter tracking and animal signs” information follows.
See that wide section of partially pushed-down and melted snow on the top rail?
    That VERY wide section?
Yes, that’s where I sat earlier that morning.
    Happy Holidays!

I must say that with the 4 signs on the stand and one free standing, you certainly know we are in Joisey. We are……….. very visually verbal.

  • Great photo; peaceful, which we all need now.

  • Won’t be long now. Before my owls show up. If they do. Just before they left for good last May/June. (the fledglings staying much longer than ever before) One night all five owls, adults and young ran a squirrel out of the house. There was a huge ruckus, lots of cussing by the squirrel who ran up a nearby tree. But I need to patch a hole the squirrels chewed in the bottom floor of the house. It is the size of a fifty cent piece.
Not sure if the babies would fall through. But it would give the squirrels a place to chew on and enlarge the hole. I love my squirrels but they are so invasive and destructive.
