Celery Farm Bird Alert — Li’l Blue Heron

    Rob Fanning saw a mature Little Blue Heron today at various locations on Lake Appert. I saw it as well — but too far to photograph. It was still around as of 11:40 a.m.
   Also: Buffleheads, Hooded Mergs, Wigeons and GW Teal.
   … Plus the Mute Swans appear to be building a nest across the lake from Pirie Platform.
