What, no Monday Morning Mystery? We may have one or two yet among these dragonflies — real odonologists please weigh in. But at least, skipper #2 is pretty surely the Northern Broken Dash (thanks DeeDee): dragonfly #1 is, tentatively, a female Widow Skimmer; dragonfly #2 is the most likely candidate for MMM (although it seems to be a descendant of Simeon Stylites)– maybe one of the whiteface dragonflies, for somewhat obvious reasons; and dragonfly #3 is most probably the Ruby Meadowhawk.
All help and criticism welcomed. And in any case, a good time was had by all on Saturday’s jaunt through the awesome Celery Farm. And thanks, Jim, for posting the pics. -
Very nice pictures!!
