Horned Grebe at the Celery Farm
My first ever here. And the spring arrivals are arriving! The grebe was No. 186 on my Celery Farm life…
Took quite a few pics of butterflies; posting the best here. Wish I had room for my macro lens, but took my butterfly binoculars instead and took shots of these guys with a telephoto. The butterfly binoculars are a great way to see butterflies up-close.
More butterflies (and a moth) on the "jump" below.
Wade Wander tells me that the
moth is a female Black Witch!
Thanks, Deedee!
Moth couls be a Black Witch
or relative, they are huge!
By the way, GREAT pictures!!
First one is a Mexican Cycadian
The other is no moth but a butterfly, a Carolina Satyr
Next one is a Mangrove Buckeye
The next on is a Variable Cracker
That last one I am still trying to figure out, possibly a moth!
