Belize 2010: A Few Raptors

   IMG_1562 We had plenty of great raptors on the trip.
   A few of the highlights included the Snail Kite (pictured above and at right), the Black-Collared Hawk, the Bat Falcon, Great Black Hawk,  White Hawk, the Spectacled Owl, the seemingly ubiquitous Roadside Hawk and four species of vulture.

    The Spectacled owl was seen at Pooks Hill Lodge. Patty had great looks at a pair of the owls…

    Been looking at these Belize pics for a few days now. Have to admit I am getting a bit jealous. Seems like a fantastic trip.
