Bald Eagle

Bald_eagle_web_2

Several people saw a bald eagle fly over the Celery Farm on Saturday.

Chris Takacs managed to grab this shot and send it along (Thanks, Chris!), and notes…

"My wife and I took notice of the eagle as all the wood ducks and green-winged teals on the lake took to the air. He soared over the Warden’s Watch from the east [Pirie] platform."

It has been a great year for bald eagles. They have definitely made a comeback in the East.
