Backyard Bird Count: Quick Update
Things are vert slow at my feeders this morning, and Lake Appert is still frozen. All I have so far are four species in 10 minutes — Great Blue Heron, White-Throat, Song Sparrow and (distant) gull.

We had a Carolina wren arrive yesterday a.m. right outside our window (and he returned again today) who was just singing up a storm all morning long. Large group of robins were nearby as well. Nice to see the snow melt and hear the birds.
