Got a peanut feeder a while back while on a trip, and  finally got own to Wild Birds Unlimited to buy raw peanuts in the shell.

Got our first taker yesterday morning — a Downy Woodpecker.

Also discovered that Northern Catbirds use the peanut feeder to get to the suet, which hangs upside down in the feeder.
