A Farewell to Jerry Barrack
Just wanted to let everyone know that Jerry Barrack, the pioneering photographer of the Celery Farm and all-around great guy, is moving with his wife Adrienne to Sarasota.
I thought it might be nice for folks to share their thoughts with Jerry, who has been so generous with his time and expertise regarding photography and the Celery Farm.
I'd like to start things off by thanking Jerry for everything he's done for the Celery Farm, for Fyke, for nature, and for Patty and me. thank goodness we'll have some great memories and great images to remember Jerry by.
I met Jerry on the Warden's Watch on Labor Day in the year 2000. We've been close friends and colleagues ever since.
I've lost track of how many projects we've done together, but it was great working with Jerry on each and every one of them.
Jerry mentioned that he plans to return with Adrienne for a short visit this summer. Hope so!
Safe travels, Jerry, and keep clicking that shutter.

I have met many nice people by spending time at the Celery Farm, and several very talented photographers. Jerry was very kind to me when I began photographing there in 2009. All the best in Florida, my friend.
