Don't like posting photos like this, but an Allendale resident sent me this photo of a dead hawk she found in her yard this weekend.

I have been out of town and did not see her message until this a.m. No visible signs of trauma.

No way to tell the cause of death at this point.

I am not great at IDing dead hawks. I think I might know what it is but would really appreciate a second opinion…
