Central Jersey screech owls

An online screech-owler friend, Steve Weiss in Central Jersey, has posted a photo of the first hatchling (taken just yesterday), a photo of the male removing a rodent’s remains from the box, and one of the male sunning itself at the box entrance.

He notes that the photos are taken from the video and are not of great quality, but they show that a lot is going inside those magical screech-owl houses.
