Bulletin: Mrs. Squirrel had her babies
Around 11 a.m. today, my wife activated the squirrel-cam monitor in the nesting box and thought she detected new noises and motion.
When I got home from an errand, I tuned in as well…
Because of all the leaves that Mrs. Squirrel crammed into the box, it is hard to see much of anything.
In the coming days, when the little squirrel start moving about, maybe I’ll be able to take some photos and movies.
A squirrel had babies in the nesting box last summer as well, I think, but because we had no camera and saw none of the young leave the box, we don’t know for sure.

I am looking forward to getting some good photos of them. They are tiny right now.

Congrats! I’m sure its far less stressful than owls, but will be interesting in itself. I can’t wait to see them!
