Nature Done Wright

  Momma deer and I met at the bridge by the Warden’s Watch the other morning.

  As Homer Simpson would say, "Doe!"

  If you look closely, you can see two fawns behind her. She did not seem fazed by my presence.

  When I tried taking pictures, however, she and the fawns hightailed it.

   Just nature’s way of saying (repeatedly):

   Use bug spray and check for deer ticks whenever you’re in a natural area, backyard or park.
