Squirks in the round (w/ video)

Squirks_in_the_round

I was going to wait to post this tomorrow, but one never knows how long the little squirrels will be in the box.

The mom moved them away once (for a week) and may move them again.

I have noticed that when Mom is not around to feed them, the squirks huddle together to form a shape that often resembles a circle.

Like most babies, they get the fidgets once in a while (see video).

I have not seen Mrs. Squirrel in a while, but I have to say I have not been looking.

The following video of the occasionally squirmy squirks may not be as nifty as the baby owl videos, but you don’t get to see baby squirrels in the nest every day.

(I know, I know: Many of us are thinking "Thank goodness.")
