Mystery caterpillar

   A colleague of mine came across this beauty in Harriman State Park. Can anybody help with an ID?

    That is a Tobacco Hornworm Moth caterpillar. Or Carolina Sphinx (Manduca sexta) Feeds on Ground Cherry, Horse Nettle, Nightshade, Tobacco, Tomato and other members of the Nightshade family.
