Incorporating the Celery Farm and Screech Owl Companion blogs

Bird’s-eye views (Continued)

On yesterday’s post, I had four aerial shots and asked readers to identify the shots — and their relationship.

If you haven’t tried to identify the subjects of photos, go to yesterday’s blog now.

   Otherwise, here are the answers:

1. School buses

2. Farm

3. Drive-in movie

4. Cemetery

Two people suggested that the photos had a common thread in their patterns, which is true. What occurred to me is (and I hope it wasn’t a stretch) … that all four are of human activity at various stages of life.

1. The early years.

2. The middle years (work).

3. The middle years (play).

4. The final (really final) years.

It’s just a matter of perspective.

My wife will get a good chuckle over the thought that anybody considered me organized — but I am, at least in some things.
I hope you are feeling better, because today is a beautiful day to be outdoors.

Actually, Jim, taking these pics show us more about your personality.Very organized and ordered, perhaps.
Things you do ‘in a row’ or ‘line up for’.
(Sorry I came in late on this, under the weather.)
Who-o-o-o Announcing Halloween is just around the corner.

    Very good!

  • Actually, I should have commented that they are all “drive-ins.” Drive in by bus, by tractor, by car, by hearse.
