Mammal Monday

   I took this photo of raccoon tracks on the Pink Potty Bridge on Saturday morning.

  It looks like the feet are mismatched, and they are. Those are front paws alongside backpaws.

  Later in the day, I saw this deer from my window, walking along the path of the Celery Farm. I grabbed my camera and fired off one shot, presented here. Sort of like "The Deer Hunter," but with a camera.

   Sometimes you get lucky.

    I have my new owl house up now. So far,
    not an owl in sight. But my son about a mile away had a screech owl on his fence post at midnight. He put up an owl house also. Surely one of us will get lucky.
