Building a better blog: Help wanted!!
I have been doing this blog for almost nine months now, mostly by the seat of my pants, and I think it’s well past time to improve some of the features.
I will be working to make it easier to use, including "click-on" videos, links to previous posts on the same subject, and simple access to a few multimedia presentations I did on bald eagles, peregrine falcons and the Hackensack River.
I’ll be updating other material as well.
What features would you like to see?
Do not hesitate to make suggestions.

No particular suggestions, just keep up the good work! I am homesick for the CF and this is such a treat to see your photos all the time!

I love the blog! I’ve been following it since the cam had the eggs, thanks to Bill Pitcher, who turned me on to it. I have to say, as a newbie birder, it would be great to learn just how you guys ID the birds you see. Perhaps do a comparison, so we know that you saw something that made you ID a clay colored sparrow from something similar. Otherwise, gee…I check in every day to see what’s up.

I think you are doing a great job! I didn’t realize this blog was so young. I thought I just came in late. I love the videos from the cam(s) and check in pretty regularly. From a personal standpoint, since I don’t have a keen eye for bird identification, I check into the blog to gleam information. I would love to learn more. Although I am more aware of my surroundings then the average person, I think I often spot “cool” birds, but do not correctly ID them. I think I round them up into general catagories. (Is it yellow? Must be a goldfinch!)
