Mahwah piebald deer

Another Mahwahite has responded to my article in The Friday Record about piebald deer (click to enlarge images).

She writes:

    Our Fardale neighborhood in
Mahwah is home to a piebald deer.  She was born two summers ago in our
neighbor’s backyard and we have watched her grow from a fawn to
adulthood. 

 

 

 

   She
is a known personality throughout our neighborhood and neighbors will
check with one another when she has not been seen for a few days.  She
travels with a herd of whitetail deer enjoying meals from a large
selection of vegetation in our backyard.
