FEEDER: Follow-up

Feedr2

Last week, I wrote about a suet feeder with suction cups that really drew in the birds for amazingly close viewing.
The keys to the set-up are the feeder with suction cups, which allows the feeder to attach to a window, and the suet cake itself, which is a nutcake and fat-free.
Because there’s no fat, you don’t get grease splattered on your window when a red-bellied woodpecker pounds away.
Just put the feeder high enough on the window so that squirrels can’t get to it.
A friend of this blog asked where to buy the feeder and the nutcake. You can buy both at Wild Bird Emporium in Midland Park — a nifty birding store.
If there are other places and you could pass them a long, please do.
