A brief hiatus — and a great weave

This is my last day at The Record, and I will be transferring this blog to a new Web address.

As I get ready for my farewells, I thought I would share something that arrived by e-mail yesterday.

Rather than drive people crazy guessing what the photo is of, I’ll spill the beans.

A weaver in western Massachusetts saw my photo of an eastern box turtle from last July and asked if she might do a weave based on the pattern in the shell.

Looks way cool to me.

Which brings me to this:

I’d have to say that the best part of the blog so far is all the wonderful friends and acquaintances I have made in the past 14 months, and the inter-connectedness that the Web at its best can bring.
