Starting Tuesday, I will post a series of short videos on the amazing Ace
family — a pair of screech owls and their five latest offspring.
The family lives near the Celery Farm in Allendale, NJ.
The videos occur from late April to late May.
The first video shows the five during the hatching days.
The second video shows them when they are a little over a week old.
Also on tap: A feeding frenzy or two, and a variety of nifty photos.

Around May 24th my last owlet fledged. I know there were two, but we were away in London and I missed the first fledging. Now the owls have left the area. Can’t wait until next year.
