  The 2008 Celery Farm Calendar was a huge success, and we are now seeking photographs for the Celery Farm Calendar 2009.

   Submissions for consideration are due by August 1, 2008.

Please follow these guidelines:

1. Photographs must have been taken at the Celery Farm, although not necessarily within the past year. Each entrant may submit up to five photographs.

2. Portrayals of all aspects of the Celery Farm are welcome. We are looking for memorable, high-quality images that capture the essence of the Celery Farm over the course of the year.

3. Submit photographs as prints, having a long dimension of at least 7 inches (10 inches preferred), in landscape format. Label each print with your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address on the back. If a photo is selected, digital files (.tiff, .PSD, or high quality .jpeg) of sufficient
resolution for 8×10 reproduction will be needed. For images printed from film, a slide or original negative will be required.

4. In a change from previous years, we are requesting that you be a Fyke member when your entry is submitted, so that the calendar is truly by and for the members. Instructions on how join Fyke can be found on our website, www.fykenature.org

The copyright of selected photographs will remain with the photographer. All prints and other media will be available for pickup at the Celery Farm on two Saturday mornings to be announced. If you include a self-addressed envelope with sufficient postage, we will return your materials that way.

Photographers participating in the actual calendar will receive a free copy and the possibility of everlasting fame.
