      I got a call from an acquaintance about an injured bird last weekend, and thought it best to investigate post haste.
    I found this little guy in a side yard on Crescent Avenue in Allendale. With the help and confirmation of Sibley,  I concluded it was a juvenile starling.
     With the help and advice of the marsh warden, I suggested to the  homeowner that she  leave the bird be.
    As they say in the medicine biz,  "First, Do No Harm."
