     This grass is one of the Celery Farm's hardiest — even in the snow. Anyone know what it is?

  • Definitely onion grass, the same stuff my husband told me not to pull out of our herbicide-free lawn because “It smells good when you mow it.” It does!

  • Onion grass? Maybe, but I got a nose smudge on my screen trying to smell it. By the way, DeeDee, thanks for the wonderful coloring book drawing–made it easy to stay within the lines. The kids will have a lot of fun with the book–and learn a great anti-slingshot lesson.
