Looks like it might some kind of sand wasp (Bembix) on chokeberry (Aronia). It also may be a kind of mining bee or leafcutter bee. Hard for me to tell from the picture.

I still think it is Chokecherry, Prunus virginiana -
Yes, SOME bee and beautiful Chokecherry!!

One thing’s for dang sure–that ain’t no bug–it’s a bee, one o’ them solitary types, maybe (but don’t quote me on it) one of them mining bees of the Genus Andrena. But there be round abouts 1200 species of the dang things (solitary bees, that is)so don’t ‘spect nuthin’ more specific. And beside, some wise fella (yer entomologist friend) is gonna prove me wrong anyhow.
The flower he’s a’sippin’ on is good ol’ Prunus virginia, I reckon–Chokecherry, that is–beeootiful, ain’t it!
