    If this blog gets one recurring complaint from the avian residents of the Celery Farm, it's that no one writes about them from their vantage point.
   No more. I am happy to announce that my good friend Seymour Drakes, the legendary raconteur, curmudgeon and canard extraordinaire, has agreed to join this blog's already formiddable lineup.
  He was so excited he even provided a publicity photo, though I have to say his pose looks a little wooden (insert Wood Duck joke here).
    His first post appears later this week. He is predicting feathers will fly, but that's Seymour for you.
