    I guess this is kind of easy, but I like the photo.

    The photo was taken a few weeks ago, in the parking lot on the Franklin Turnpike. No climbing involved.

    On the south east side of Lanchantin Meadow
    somewhat near the fox den of last year!
    Behind the Pines.
    My favorite names also!

  • It IS a nice photo! How high did you have to climb to get it? 🙂
    Liriodendron tulipifera — one of my favorite scientific names.

    PS. My VERY favorite scientific name is Liquidambar styraciflua, but I don’t think we have a specimen of it at the Celery Farm (or do we, DeeDee?)
