Seymour Drakes found this guy in the bathtub. At least it was clean — or all washed up.

   But who is it?

Please do not tell Seymour's wife he posted this on the blog.

  • Ah yes, one of my least favorite critters, the House Centipede as Tom indicated. They love tubs and sinks and the area around my washing machine. They also love being sucked up by vacuum cleaner.

What goes 99 clump, 99 clump, 99 clump? A centipede with a wooden leg.
Well, in this case, it would be 14 clump, 14 clump? A Scutigera with 2 wooden legs.
Great photo, showing the spindly last pair of legs, which look like antennae, so it looks like it’s coming and going. I wonder, what was its post-photographic fate?
