   In the next month, Fyke has a field trip, a meeting featuring Jerry Barrack's Celery Farm photos, and a clean-up.

   During that same time frame, Kevin Watson and I are doing a slide show and talk on our book "Hawk Mountain," and I am doing a book signing at the Barnes & Noble at Lehigh Valley Mall (about a half-hour east of Hawk Mountain).

   I am posting the Fyke events now below — including a Jerry Barrack slide show for Fyke (that's his pic on the front of this year's Celery Farm calendar). I will post the other two events tomorrow.

Woodcocks at the Great Swamp NWR

Meet in the Great
Swamp at the Heronry Parking Lot at 5 p.m. (still on Eastern Standard Time).
There will be some late day birding. Bring a light snack to enjoy while we

The Celery Farm

Our favorite
photographer, Jerry Barrack, will return with his latest images of our
favorite Nature Preserve. Jerry's photos have introduced many people to the
Celery Farm and his collaborations grace many book shelves. Come and see his
newest work. The talk is free.

April 3 (Saturday)

Celery Farm Cleanup

Meet at 9 AM at the end of Greenway for a few
hours of active conservation. We hope you will join us to spruce up the
preserve (many hands make light work). Coordinator is Marsh Warden
