A Great Celery Farm Clean-Up!
A couple of Workmen were among the featured participants in the annual Celery Farm clean-up. These two were on the trail crew, adding wood chips to the damp areas on the trail.
More than two dozen volunteers led by Marsh Warden Mike Limatola raked, clipped and picked up litter from hard-to-get-at areas. The clean-up netted a dozen garbage bags full of beer cans, water bottles and coffee cups — to name just a few items.
A heart-felt thanks to all the wonderful volunteers who spent their sunny Saturday morning to help the Celery Farm look "natural" again.
Pix of several volunteers follow. To the volunteers we didn't photograph — sorry about that. We'll try again next year.
A trail with new wood chips…..
