Horned Grebe at the Celery Farm
My first ever here. And the spring arrivals are arriving! The grebe was No. 186 on my Celery Farm life…
The flowering plant in question was indeed an azalea — a Korean Azalea and a legacy from a former owner of the property. The plant buds beautifully for about a week, then is utterly forgettable the rest of the year. More here.
I am hoping that Tom Burr is right — it is a Carpenter Bee nailing some nectar. More on these bees here.
