The Rob Fanning Report 040910

   Rob sez:

New arrivals to the CF Thursday were BC NIGHT HERON and COMMON
YELLOWTHROAT. Not counting my winter record on 2/9/98, this is the
earliest spring arrival date at the CF (prev. 4/14/03) In some years
they don't arrive until May.
Fred Weber and Evan Zupfer also heard/saw the yellowthroat. Apparently
there were 2 birds present. I heard one of them near the B-fly garden
and saw it fly across the path.

Other highlights were: GREATER YELLOWLEGS (2), Palm Warbler (10+), Yellow-rumped Warbler (5+), and Rough-winged Swallow (2)
