Massive Fish Die-off @ Celery Farm
A huge thank you to the volunteers who pitched in today to remove all those dead fish from the Celery…
Pay no attention to that odonate behind the curtain. It certainly doesn’t look like Frank Morgan. But perhaps the wizard behind the camera took a peek and saw that it resembles the other specimen, which seems to be a Ruby Meadowhawk, which species can only be differentiated from the Cherry-Faced Meadowhawk with the help of a 20x microscope, lest one be left taxonomically embarrassed and Red-Faced.
The initial mystery guy was obviously hiding, either from the coyote or the bear.
