Today’s Celery Farm Walk

P1000913
Eight of us had a nice walk to the Pirie Platform to see a nice range of birds — including a Greater Yellowlegs, several Wood Ducks, a Racing Pigeon, IMG_1032
Great Blue Herons and a Great Egret.

But the highlight might have been at the start of the walk, at the Green Way Circle, when we saw two Red-shouldered Hawks squawking with a Redtail. I got a nice shot of the Redtail, and photographer Sandy Sorkin got several nice shots of the Red-shoulder — plus a bunch more.

I hope to post one of Sandy's Red-shoulder shot and a link to his Picasa website later this weekend.
