Congrats to Scott Weston for getting both the Monday Mystery and the bonus. In that dishevelment of fallen leaves photographed by Sally Teschon was a young frog. (I lightened the original here to reduce squinting.)

And, of course, that was a Great Horned Owl lurking in Doug Morel's photo.

Best answer, however, was from Rosemarie Widmer, who ventured it was a Great Horned Owl in the one photo and a pellet somewhere in the other.
